😠 The Frustration of Entry-Level Requirements It is literally so annoying to see how entry-level positions require three years of experience! I mean, seriously—they are entry-level; let me enter the industry! Nowadays, employers and recruiters don't seem to care much about helping to grow employees in their learning and development. All they want is for candidates to have experience from their mother's womb!

100% correct Entey Level Supposed to be the starting point just sad how they expect years of experience even applying for volunteer work it’s become a joke applied so many never heard back don’t know what to do anymore.

Your skills should be the main thing really. Try to get those front and centre.

I applied for jobs that stated no experience is needed and they will provide training on site, but they reject my application without interview. It’s really frustrating. 🥹🥹

It’s not fair at all. They make you sound like you’re going to get the job and they seem keen on you but the outcome never lies. It’s like being stabbed in the back and is why quite ally of people end up in the poorhouse due to unfair selection processes. “Oh there were people with more experience”, the oldest excuse in the book. That’s such a cop out. I suffer from CPTSD because of this, I’ve been trying to find stable work ever since I finished school

The expectarion is that, despite being an adult with bills and rent to pay, groceries to buy ad everything else in a cost of living crisis, we are supposed to be able to go and "volunteer" for "experience" before we are able to meet the criteria to potentially get a job. It's extremely frustrating.
