Is it getting harder for a man age 59 harder to find a job. i tried IT, warehouse, and retail and it seems they are not interested of employing someone at that age. how does the Centrelink expect us to find a job??

Age bias is the worst. My advice is not to put anything on your apps that gives away your age. Stick to recent, relevant jobs and your skills.
Shouldn't have to I know...but hopefully that gives you the best chance of getting an interview where you can talk up what you can do.

it's the same at age 40 mate age discrimination is horrid I truly believe anyone over the age of 35 should be highly considered as they are generally very loyal and extremely capable of almost any job

Push on the experience you have, not the age. So many times I've been looked over because of my grey hair, but it's always best to be overconfident in about how much you know, not so much in how long it took to get it. More advice? Dye your hair, shave your beard completely & get a haircut. People in the country have a extra critical eye whether they realise it or not.

You can only do the best that you can. The system puts a lot of pressure on people, and sometimes I think that does more harm than good. 😞 Being reminded constantly of expectations isn't helping , esp when the support on offer is so average
