Sheetmetal Fabricator
I’ve applied for over 40 jobs, a few have already gotten back to me saying unsuccessful, mainly cause i have no experience.
But how am I supposed to have experience if no one’s willing to teach me?
I’ve been at the same job, same place for 4 years straight and I want to explore the workforce now.

4 years in 1 job already shows commitment and transferable skills. Maybe focus on how you highlight those, and look into entry-level roles or short courses to upskill and help bridge the gap.

Return to Work Coordinator
I completely understand, I have applied for over 500 positions within the last 6 months with nothing.
I have even had positions brought to me to apply for but with no outcome. It makes you feel undervalued and defeated.

Aged Care Assistant
It is so frustrating putting in applications as a support worker when I have years of experience. I left my last job as I didn't like the workplace atmosphere.I went straight back to another job but at the moment I need more permanent work.I am an experienced support worker and have worked in aged care since 1996 I took some time off just recently but the cost of living has cut me a bit I hope I get something soooon

I'm happy to look over your resume if that helps, are you using a cover letter when you apply? :)

I know how does it feel and is so frustrating cause i sent over 220 resume and all of them says unsuccessful or over qualified, or you find the same vacancies after 2 weeks the same job that i applied for that they are hiring people.

Order Picker
I’ve applied to more than 1000 positions and created different versions of my resume each time. I have 4 years of experience as a warehouse associate and 2 years as an order picker. I’ve applied in many different ways, and I also have a bachelor’s degree. I even applied for cleaner positions, but after some time, the positions get canceled or marked as “unlikely to move forward.” I don’t understand who actually gets these jobs in the end.

I think you need to highlight your transferable skills. Have someone look at your resume - tell them what types of roles you want and write out your transferable skills. You can also do it with an ai resume writing tool to help you identify the skills you can transfer and than edit it to suit your specific experience .

Digital Marketing Coordinator
It can be pretty frustrating.I had 15 yrs of experience as an entrepreneur. When I loved to Australia,I had to find something to do.I did a digital marketing course and applied every single day to as many companies as possible. But that taught me a lot.Writing a cover letter for every company can be frustrating but it’s important to see how you can be a good fit for that role. Go through every single details of the JD and ask yourself what you’ve done in your current role that meets the role & ap
