Administration Role
Had an interview a couple days ago. I asked for an expected date that i would find out waited two days and never got one after being told i would receive one no matter what. Bit disappointed and disheartening when you expect to receive one and never get one at all. It has no been 5 days and just accepted i will not be receiving one. Also a bad look on the company i will no longer be applying for a job there.

99% of the time, you are not informed. It’s rude and creates a bad image. If you take the time to apply, you should at least get a generic letter of decline. If you get an in person son interview, a phone call or custom email would be nice.
Instead you wait weeks and weeks and weeks for nothing.

I get stuff can come come up but it really isn't a great look IMO Cassidy. You made the effort to go in for an interview so a quick email updating you shouldn't be asking too much.

They can't be interviewing that many people. Not hearing back from applications is tough enough, from an interview should be such ane asy expectation. They brought you in, you should know why you missed out

Honestly it's hard to know what may be happening inside the business. Sometimes they're waiting on approval to let you know or they had to delay another interview etc. They should for sure be communicating that with you but sometimes 1 day turns into 5 pretty quick. I'd definitely give them a follow up but it's worth keeping it professional and not assuming the worst in case something's happened that's out of their control.

ATS has broken recruitment sadly, most applications are auto rejected because you missed a keyword so no human has even seen it.

Customer Care Consultant
If you passed a phone interview to the point you go for induction or meet and greet as they put it, then it is not much to expect a response to advise you weren’t a fit but no communication at all is quite inconsiderate and rude. I think companies are not as bad but recruitment agencies are the worse and they don’t care.
It use to be a positive thing at this stage but I’ve learnt quickly it means nothing keep applying and attend interviews regardless until its confirmed you got the job.

I've had the same thing happen a few times after an interview. I don't mind if they email me a rejection, just let me know if you said you would about the outcome.
