There will be no jobs for everyone. We are just waiting for bureaucrats to finally realise that and start implementing UBI. There is enough economic wealth to pay basic income, to feed everyone plus we have billions to waste on tax breaks for mining and useless nuclear submarines. As it was before Covid about 50% of jobs are there just to employ people. Now AI is erasing those first.

Yep, common sense says the world is better off when people have the basic necessities and can afford to eat more than ramen and weet bix. Poverty has huge consequences, pressure on the health system, skills shortages because our education system can't keep up with kids who aren't getting what they need at home. Don't know if UBI will fix it, but somethings gotta change right?
