Hi, I’m 18 and have casual weekend work in retail, but I want to get into an entry-level office job like data entry jobs or admin or something basic like that. I’ve been applying but had no luck and I'm not sure if the issue is my applications or if it's my age or experience. Should I be approaching companies directly? What can I do to get a foot in the door??

You're trying traineeship roles? I think there might be some incentives with those depending on the job. I wouldn't normally recommend a recruiter, but there are some who are very active in that area. Even just for advice, it can be helpful. or maybe a course that has placement, and theres the potential you might be able to stay on?
