UNPOPULAR OPINION: Telling young people to “do what you love” is unrealistic. Guide them to choose jobs they at least find interesting—it doesn’t have to be their ultimate passion. If you earn enough to cover life’s expenses comfortably, that supports you better to love your life—even if you don’t love your job. thoughts?

Hmm, kind of. I totally agree that 'doing what you love' is unrealistic for most people - I love running and baking, but I'm not very good at either and certainly can't earn a living off of it! But that doesn't mean I should do something I hate just to earn money. There's a middle ground here - I love Marketing, I find it really stimulating and I love big ambiguous problems to work through. Is it still work? Yes. But it's work I enjoy. I think we should look for that - work you enjoy.

Kinda, but which one would you prefer? Doing a job that you dont like for a luxurious life, or doing a job you love for a stable life?
