27-year-old second-year law student here.
I have 5–6 years of hospitality experience and have been working at Coles Online for the past 4 years. I’m now trying to step into the legal industry through an entry-level role (legal admin, clerk, assistant, etc.) but have applied to many positions without hearing back.
I’d really appreciate advice from those already in the industry —
• What roles should I realistically be targeting at this stage?
• How can I better present my non-legal experience?

Not in the legal industry so can't offer any advice there but wondering if it comes down to them wanting certain availability or something that may be hard if you're a student or maybe they think it would be hard (ie they want 9-5)? Wondering if spelling out availability on your cover letter could help.
