Store Manager
Mum of two autistic kids, just looking for that unicorn job with real flexibility. I’ve gone from running my own shop to working in management, accounts, and admin. Since closing my business, getting back into the workforce has been tough—so many “family-first” promises that vanish once you start. I’m still trying to find my place and a role that truly understands the juggle of work and family life.

I know what you mean, and I think what some employers deem as flexible...really isn't. Finding an employer that gets it, it changes everything. You may not even need it that often, but knowing you can be there for the kids without any judgment or fallout in the workplace - that's a huge weight off the shoulders.
