How are we handling those days you just don’t want to work? If you’re just a bit ‘off do you take a personal day? Do you tell your manager you’re taking a mental health day or just say it’s something like food poisoning?

It doesnt happen often, but I try to switch it up a bit. Go for a walk on break, make sure I have a healthy lunch. If it's really bad (not just not feeling like it), then I'd consider calling in sick. That's a pretty big sign you might need some rest.

I have started being honest bec if your manager does not value you and doesn't understand that leaves are productive too, I would rather let go off that culture.
