In an interview how can you ask about the company culture and what the employee and company expect from me and how this is displayed in the company structure.
Positive and supportive culture is very important to me to succeed in a new career

I find if their HR department is called 'Peoples & Culture department' (either in the ad or they refer themselves) they are trying to proactively cultivate a more positive and inclusive work environment where they foster and encourage employee well-being and experience. They actually like it when potential employees ask about their culture, extra benefits (that are not remunerations) and development pathways as it 'fits' their company's model for employees.

I like to ask them what it will look like if I'm successful in 12 month time or whatever timeframe. If they've thought about it that tells me a lot right away. Then I also think how does that align with what I want. Is my success all about them? If it is that's a red flag, but if it's about me and what I've achieved and how the team is working I feel like that's a green flag.

Some great advice in here already Jenny...These are great things to be asking about up front. And questions like 'what qualities do you think will help someone to be successful in this role' can keep things really positive.
We've got some questions you can ask about culture here: https://bit.ly/4aoACMn and some broader questions you can ask here: https://bit.ly/47ozcRF.
You'll always be the best one to know what feels right in the situation. But just a few to think about.

I think it's okay to ask what kind of culture management strives to aim for. Because there can be lots of different cultures - all good - but they look different. Getting an idea of their goals in that department will help.
