I’ve been job hunting for months and can land interviews, but keep hearing the same thing: I present well, but the “experience gap” is too big. I’ve hit a ceiling in my current role and can’t gain new exposure without a major pay cut. It’s frustrating, but I know many have faced this. How did you step up when you weren’t “100% qualified”?

The good news is, you're getting something right if you’re landing interviews. Stepping up is often about showing how your existing skills transfer, even if you don’t tick every box.
You might find these tips helpful on how to pitch yourself, even when you don't meet every part of the criteria: https://www.seek.com.au/career-advice/article/how-to-pitch-yourself-with-a-well-rounded-resume
Good luck with it all, what you're doing now is bound to pay off.
