Has anyone here done a degree or TAFE course in their 30's? I got a hospo job straight out of school and I don't hate it but I'm so bored and I want to do something else, I'm not een sure what. I'm about to turn 30 and feeling lost! I like the idea of doing something creative but I literally hve no professional level skills. Whst are my realistic options here?

Administrative support
You can absolutely study and change career in your 30s! Its a great age to make decisions because you’ve had some life experience and understand more about your own interests, capabilities and strengths.
Observe what you’re curious about and inspired by, what motivates you to get out of bed each day, what sort of workplace environment would suit you ie. outdoors, office, workshop, busy/quiet, travelling, etc.
If you aren’t sure, volunteering is a great way to try out new roles and workplaces.

Underground Loader/Charge-Up Operator
My above title isn't accurate, I've been a HR coordinator for over a year now but before I was a Charge-Up Operator I did an adult apprenticeship in Refrigeration and did that for 7 years.
I've also been studying a business degree online for 2 years now.
It's never too late to start something new, hospo is the perfect career to have and be able to explore new opportunities. Work out what you want to do and get after it. Dip your toes in or dive, but do something.

Civil Maintenance
I’m 38, in the past two years I’ve completed 2 X cert 3’s through TAFE, one as part of a traineeship. You’ve still got plenty of working years left, may as well be doing something you enjoy! 😊
