I’m in my 20s and have had an account management job for 5 years now and i find myself often wondering if i should change careers while I'm still young. I’m interested in graphic design but apparently that’s going to be taken by AI, so I'm hesitant to leave my stable job. What does everyone think? Is the grass always greener or is it worth taking the risk?

I wouldn't leave your stable job. I've been in the Graphic Design industry for over 15 years, self employed in the Signwriting and print industry. I am 43 now, I'm looking for a stable career I can retire into. I am finding it hard to find a stable comfortable office or admin job part time. I'd research your local job market and lean towards further training in the areas which are needing workers. It's hard to chase a dream job these days, having job security is much more important.

You've got heaps of time up your sleeve to think about changing careers. For me it's not a set time frame...more when you can't see the opportunities you want there. Do you think there could be opportunities to broaden your skills there without leaving?
