Quality Lead
I was interviewed 3 weeks ago and the HR told me they would get back to me within a week. However I followed up last Friday and they said they haven’t finalised the process. Meanwhile the job advertised has expired on seek. The interview went very well and I was even taken on a tour to their production plant. Should I be worried that it’s taking more time than they originally mentioned?

If its a Gvt position, you could be waiting 3-4 months to get your start date. This can also depend on where you will be workin(which dptment) and what the role is. Typically shorter in both private and not for profit sectors. I would definitely try to stay in contact with potential employer contact...reiterate you keen interest in the job, your preparedness to be ready to start and any other relevant information...ie: police cert (date acquired or renewed), First Aid/CPR (exp date) Good Luck

Slowly, an injury occured. (bursitis, in part because of repetitive, heavy lifting! ) Do I tell interviewers this? if I have had therapy, I believe recovered. I have had interviews. For chemist Warehouse. The lifting loads are not like before. Was asked about Gap on resume. I had a few interviews. In one interview, where I believe they contacted my references. They asked for them. never heard back! They asked for them ( Dr said to give up my job 8 months ago!) haven't had employment since.
